Why Orchids-Cymbidium?

Cymbidium Orchids are the longest lasting of the commercially available orchid varieties. Because varieties change throughout the season, they are classified as Early, Mid Season or Late varieties. Cymbidium orchids bears 8-11 blooms per stem. When properly handled and stored, stems can last 15 to 20 days. Because they are such a beautiful bloom, they're a popular pick for weddings in bouquets, hair accessories and groomsmen boutonnieres.

Tips from our experts

Stems should be re-cut upon arrival and placed in cool water with the proper dose of floral preservative. If storing in water tubes, the water should be changed every 3 days. Cymbidiums are best stored between 45-50º F.
